Disclosure Day

I finally go to watch Steven Spielberg's movie "Disclosure Day", free with my Peacock subscription. I wasn't going to spend $20 purchasing or renting a 3 star (Amazon Prime) movie, when it first came out. I didn't even want to rent it later on for $9.99 or even $5.99. The trailers I have seen were not exactly enticing me to watch it either. But too many voices in the UFO/UAP Disclosure movement kept referencing it and make even suggesting comparisons with reality, for me to not watch it at all.

To my surprise I found the movie rather enjoyable to watch. It somehow reminded me on Ron Howard's trilogy "The Da Vince Code", "Angels and Demons" and "Inferno", although those were not at all UFO/UAP related. I think "Disclosure Day" is much better than a 3 start movie.

But being well informed in the UFO/UAP Disclosure movement have had great interest in the subject since way before Bob Lazar (1989) and having contemplated many theories and possibilities, I could not find any plausible scenarios or even theories applicable to what the UFO/UAP Disclosure movement has uncovered and established as facts or plausible theories.

Inside the Pentagon's sixth UFO file release

Tic Tac over the Pacific, an AI recreation of the 2004 Nimitz encounter. Not real footage. On September 18 the Pentagon released its sixth batch of UFO files: 71 files covering 1952 to 2025.

AAWSAP

The centerpiece is material from the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program, AAWSAP, a classified Defense Intelligence Agency effort launched in 2008 and ended in 2012. Its stated goal was to "understand the physics and engineering of these applications as they apply to the foreign threat out to the far term," through the year 2050.

The release includes 37 Defense Intelligence Reference Documents on subjects including warp drives, wormholes, antigravity, negative mass propulsion and invisibility cloaking. It also includes a 2010 study of injuries to human observers after anomalous aerospace-related events, recording symptoms such as hair loss, skin burns and signs of radiation illness.

Video

The batch carries military camera footage of unidentified objects, and four videos from a Colorado police department showing red, blue and green flashing lights in October 2023. Experts quoted in the coverage urge caution, because unidentified objects on video are easily misread by viewers unfamiliar with advanced military technology.

The Pentagon opens a door for UAP whistleblowers

The Gimbal object, an AI recreation of the 2015 Navy sighting. Not real footage. On September 14 the Defense Department issued a waiver that lets past and present civilian personnel, service members and contractors share UAP-related information with PURSUE, the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, without triggering breach-of-agreement penalties. PURSUE is the White House initiative directing federal agencies and the military services to gather their internal UAP records for possible declassification and public release.

In the Pentagon's own words, the step "establishes an authorized pipeline for systematic review, security evaluation, and potential declassification of historical and ongoing UAP data." The Disclosure Foundation's executive director called it "a meaningful step toward establishing the facts."

A private archive the Pentagon wants to read

Two weeks earlier, DefenseScoop reported that the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, AARO, is pursuing a sole-source contract for access to the National UFO Historical Records Center, the New Mexico nonprofit led by David Marler. A Pentagon official described it as holding "the world's largest private collection of UAP-related historical records, including hundreds of thousands of unique case files." AARO is particularly interested in pre-1990 material, to meet Congress's requirement that it review government involvement with UAP since 1945. The archive includes files once belonging to Dr. J. Allen Hynek of Project Blue Book.
