Watch Lists And Jury Selection

By Elmer Whittaker

I moved to Las Vegas, Clark County, NV around 1989/1990 and changed my NY Driver’s License to a Nevada Driver’s License sometimes in the early 90’s. Shortly thereafter I also applied for a Clark County Sheriff’s Card with the LVMPD and soon thereafter I must have registered to vote here in Clark County.

Racism And The Police

By Elmer Whittaker

Although racism is clearly behind much of the police and judicial corruption, I do not believe that racism is the foundation of injustices against a large number of our citizenry. Many police abusers are black themselves and without a doubt for every black victim of police misconduct there is at least a non-black victim to be found. I do not even believe that minorities are targeted because they are minorities or of a certain ethnical background.

Black Lives Matter Too!

By Elmer Whittaker

Recently, former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani called “Black Lives Matter” inherently racist, anti-American and divisive amongst other things in an interview.

I am afraid, but not surprised that I cannot agree with much of Rudy Giuliani’s comments in regards to “Black Lives Matter” other than a few points. Rudy Giuliani is clearly part of the problem.

All Lives Matter

The night before the Dallas attack on “white” Police Officers I was seriously upset about the police murders of Alton Sterling in Louisiana and Jamar Clark in Minneapolis. Those murders, like the Erik Scott murder in Las Vegas by the LVMPD concern me personally very deeply, as I carry a firearm usually open on a daily basis.
