Common Sense Environmentalism

By Elmer Whittaker

Like with everything else in life that can be manipulated with money, so are environmental studies manipulated to reflect the agendas of the purporting interest groups. This, as far as the environment is concerned has become a problem of such magnitude, that not only the layman has become unsure of what to believe and to know with any kind of certainty what is true or false.

Questionable Inaction By The LNC

By Elmer Whittaker

After the Libertarian Party’s Chairman Geoffrey Neale's completely uncalled for letter of apology, which Vice-Chairman R. Lee Wrights, of course saw as most appropriate, the general inaction of the LNC to the cancellation of the LPN convention and the email exchange between Geoffrey Neale, R. Lee Wrights and LPN Chairman candidate Brett H. Pojunis, which was posted in the LPN’s Facebook Group and started this entire discussion, I could not help myself against an overwhelming impression that both Geoffrey Neale and R. Lee Wrights, are determined to excuse and legitimize reigning LPN Chairman Joe Silvestri’s cancellation of the LPN elections.

The Practice of Infiltration

By Elmer Whittaker

Nowadays it is no longer a secret that the US and State Governments along with its agencies like the FBI, CIA, ATF, DHS and others have long since infiltrated dissenting organizations and movements like the Civil Rights, Anti-War, Occupy Wall Street and the Patriot Movements as well as organizations like the Ron Paul R3volution, the Tea Party, the Libertarian Party and many others, in order to destroy and render them ineffective from within.

The Election That Never Was

By Elmer Whittaker

On April 22nd, five days before the scheduled elections for the state leadership of the Libertarian Party of Nevada (LPN) on April 27, 2013 the party’s current Executive Committee under chairman Joe Silvestri, canceled the state elections much to the dismay and outrage of the LPN’s membership, when it became clear to the reigning Executive Committee that they would not have enough support and votes to be re-elected.

Censorship at the LPN

By Elmer Whittaker

The first amendment that includes freedom and speech has now been officially abolished by the Executive Committee (Ex-Com) of the Libertarian Party of Nevada (LPN) as far as their membership is concerned.

While it is not completely uncommon that party social media outlets such as Facebook Page, Twitter Feed, Meet-Up Groups and Google accounts are mainly used for announcements to their membership, some outlets allow for discussions and member postings.

Corruption deepens within the LPN

By Elmer Whittaker

In an ever deepening conspiracy of the Executive Committee (Ex-Com) of the Libertarian Party of Nevada (LPN) to retain their strangle hold of the LPN and its membership, the Ex-Com has now widened its corruption not only of the party itself but especially of the election process for a new leadership at the upcoming 2013 Libertarian Party of Nevada State Convention on April 27, 2013.

Current Problems within the LPN

By Elmer Whittaker

Dissolvment of County Chapters

I think this is the first and foremost ground of contention within the LPN. For many years the Libertarian Party of Nevada was comprised of the State Chapter (LPN) and three county affiliate chapters. The Clark County Libertarian Party, the Nye County Libertarian Party and the Capitol Libertarian Party in the Reno, Carson City area.

Marijuana Decriminalization in Nevada

By Elmer Whittaker

On Friday March 15, 2013 Las Vegas Assemblyman Joe Hogan (D) introduced a bill to decriminalize marijuana to the Nevada State Assembly. Assemblyman Joe Hogan (D) not only cited societal benefits and the legalization of marijuana for medical purposes in his bill, but stretched the remarkable medical benefits of the plant.

First Impressions of the LPN

By Elmer Whittaker

I have been a member of the Libertarian Party (LP) for a few years now and have just very recently joined its Nevada chapter the Libertarian Party of Nevada (LPN). I joined both the LP and the LPN to morally and financially support the parties and actively help to bring about political change, further liberty and elect Libertarian Party candidates on a national, statewide and local level.

Brought up by a online news article “Finally: hear Bradley Manning in his own voice” containing recordings of ‘whistleblower” Bradley Mannings and the wikileaks “collateral Murder” video I re-visited the infamous incident.

My Political Activism for Liberty and Justice

By Elmer Whittaker

I became politically active rather late in life and not quite voluntarily, after having become the victim of police and judicial corruption numerous times in 2009/10 in Mohave County, AZ where I lived during that period, and Lubbock County, TX some 1000 miles away from where I lived.

Con-trails vs. Chem-trails

By Elmer Whittaker

It would be wonderful if the question of chemtrails could be answered as simple as con-trails dissipate immediately while chem-trails hang around. Unfortunately, this is not quite accurate.

Search Warrants, Dogs and Deaths

By Elmer Whittaker

It has long become standard procedure for law enforcement in particular SWAT Teams to shoot and kill the family dog when conducting a Search Warrant. If you look around even in the mass media you can find so many cases were innocent dogs are shot down like vermin, not even to mention the alternative media. Alone on YouTube are more than a half a million police brutality videos posted, growing on a daily basis.

Mandatory Drug Testing in Las Vegas

By Elmer Whittaker

Some time ago I went to see my Doctor in Las Vegas for my 3 months check-up and to get some refills on some of the medications I take. I used to take Oxycodone pain pills along with the muscle relaxant Valium for my back and knee pain. I have since stepped down to Percocet pain pills who seem to prove more effective for me.

Lies and Corruption in Politics

By Elmer Whittaker

It cannot have escaped anyone but the most ignorant person, or those who live in complete denial, that Americas society and politics is riddled with lies and corruption. However it is nowhere more visible and prevalent than in politics, bureaucratic administrations and other government services or departments.

Las Vegas Family Court Security

By Elmer Whittaker

A while back I had to go to Las Vegas in order to get copies of papers from the Clark County Family and Juvenile Court.
When entering the courthouse, I naturally had to go through a security checkpoint where I, as usual, emptied my pockets, and in this case, I had to take my belt off too, before stepping through the scanner. Unfortunately, I was caught still wearing my shoes. This was a security breach and had marshals materialize right in front of me out of thin air.

Las Vegas Resort Rip-Off

By Elmer Whittaker

Apparently for some years now, Las Vegas’ Hotel Casino Resorts are using a nasty rip-off scheme to lure in unsuspecting visitors and outdo their competition of Hotels without casino operation.
