The Practice of Infiltration

By Elmer Whittaker

Nowadays it is no longer a secret that the US and State Governments along with its agencies like the FBI, CIA, ATF, DHS and others have long since infiltrated dissenting organizations and movements like the Civil Rights, Anti-War, Occupy Wall Street and the Patriot Movements as well as organizations like the Ron Paul R3volution, the Tea Party, the Libertarian Party and many others, in order to destroy and render them ineffective from within.

The Election That Never Was

By Elmer Whittaker

On April 22nd, five days before the scheduled elections for the state leadership of the Libertarian Party of Nevada (LPN) on April 27, 2013 the party’s current Executive Committee under chairman Joe Silvestri, canceled the state elections much to the dismay and outrage of the LPN’s membership, when it became clear to the reigning Executive Committee that they would not have enough support and votes to be re-elected.

Censorship at the LPN

By Elmer Whittaker

The first amendment that includes freedom and speech has now been officially abolished by the Executive Committee (Ex-Com) of the Libertarian Party of Nevada (LPN) as far as their membership is concerned.

While it is not completely uncommon that party social media outlets such as Facebook Page, Twitter Feed, Meet-Up Groups and Google accounts are mainly used for announcements to their membership, some outlets allow for discussions and member postings.

Corruption deepens within the LPN

By Elmer Whittaker

In an ever deepening conspiracy of the Executive Committee (Ex-Com) of the Libertarian Party of Nevada (LPN) to retain their strangle hold of the LPN and its membership, the Ex-Com has now widened its corruption not only of the party itself but especially of the election process for a new leadership at the upcoming 2013 Libertarian Party of Nevada State Convention on April 27, 2013.

Current Problems within the LPN

By Elmer Whittaker

Dissolvment of County Chapters

I think this is the first and foremost ground of contention within the LPN. For many years the Libertarian Party of Nevada was comprised of the State Chapter (LPN) and three county affiliate chapters. The Clark County Libertarian Party, the Nye County Libertarian Party and the Capitol Libertarian Party in the Reno, Carson City area.

Marijuana Decriminalization in Nevada

By Elmer Whittaker

On Friday March 15, 2013 Las Vegas Assemblyman Joe Hogan (D) introduced a bill to decriminalize marijuana to the Nevada State Assembly. Assemblyman Joe Hogan (D) not only cited societal benefits and the legalization of marijuana for medical purposes in his bill, but stretched the remarkable medical benefits of the plant.

First Impressions of the LPN

By Elmer Whittaker

I have been a member of the Libertarian Party (LP) for a few years now and have just very recently joined its Nevada chapter the Libertarian Party of Nevada (LPN). I joined both the LP and the LPN to morally and financially support the parties and actively help to bring about political change, further liberty and elect Libertarian Party candidates on a national, statewide and local level.

My Political Activism for Liberty and Justice

By Elmer Whittaker

I became politically active rather late in life and not quite voluntarily, after having become the victim of police and judicial corruption numerous times in 2009/10 in Mohave County, AZ where I lived during that period, and Lubbock County, TX some 1000 miles away from where I lived.
